Koa is pure perfection. She is a 9 year old spayed female. Koa loves to run, she can at times run extremely fast and sometimes not know when to slow down and stop. She has tons of energy even at her age. Overall she is just too sweet and kind and loves people and other animals. She is very gentle and will greet you with a smile and roll over so you can rub her perfect little belly.

Hi, Im Wattson! Im an energetic 16 month old neutered male that is a bouncy, flouncy Sheepdog with a side hustle of cuddling on your lap. I came from a loving home that had an older Sheepdog that I didnt quite fit in with, so my family thought it best to find a better forever home for my awesomeness.

Wattson is currently 75lbs, but he is a little underweight and will probably be closer to 90+lbs when he gets to his full weight potential. He is current on all his vaccinations and is microchipped.

He is a bit nervous about meeting people and new things but warms up quickly. Wattson has not been crated, but doesnt mind sleeping in one at bedtime. He loves riding in the car and hanging his head out the window, long walks or a run on the beach and is curious about everything!

Wattson would be great for someone looking for an adventure buddy!

Irving

          Meet Irving (Iceland)

Irving is a neutered 3.5 year old nearly 90lb Sheepdog. He has a full tail. He is a loving and curious boy looking for his forever home despite having a rough start to life.

Irving has fear-based reactivity and aggression after being attacked by another dog. He needs a low-traffic home that has no other pets, no small children, and limited new people coming into his space. He would do best in an adult only home where someone is home most of the day. He would do best in a home with a large yard or field.

Irving loves long walks and being outside. He walks well, but he has small prey drive and is afraid of fast-moving and large vehicles, as well as leash reactivity to other dogs, which means he can try to lunge at or chase these things. His fosters have been working with him on this. You must give your walks full attention because he is a fast, strong boy. Additional training will help him overcome this habit. He also is wary of other people when on walks.

Irving is very aware of objects on the other side of the fence. He will try to chase cars from the fence line, and he will try to hunt small animals living in the bushes. He has fence reactivity from both sides of the fence, so a strong, sturdy fence is required.

Irving had food insecurity prior to being with his fosters, so he's very interested in and motivated by food. He is on a lamb and rice diet and takes fiber and probiotic supplements that work well for him. He will not eat unless his humans are present in the room. He has a chicken allergy. He loves helping you in the kitchen and will help himself to unattended food if you're not keeping an eye on him. He has been working on being gentle when taking treats. His party trick is he can catch food in the air!

He has resource guarding tendencies with other dogs, but not humans. He has moderate to high separation anxiety for which he takes Clomicalm twice a day. He has worked with a trainer on his separation anxiety and can be left alone for short periods of time, but he will be overly excited when you return and jumps on you, so channeling that anxiety into a toy or prepared licking pad or Kong works best. He has done well with in-home training and board and train programs, and more training should be expected.

Irving loves a cuddle, but prefers to sleep at night in a safe corner of your bedroom. He frequently likes a snuggle and snooze in bed in the morning, and he loves a couch nap with his humans. He does NOT like to be in a crate, so this will not be an option.

Irving likes to be brushed, but he has some sensitive areas he doesn't like touched. He has been to professional groomer several times who has experience with dogs like Irving. You will need a groomer who will be patient and has experience with dogs with fear-based reactivity. It is best that he is muzzled during sensitive grooming areas, and that the owner is present to help with his anxiety. Once he trusts the groomer, he will give them kisses.

He is terrified of the vet and will need to be muzzled and possibly given trazodone. Your vet will need to be made aware of this before you visit so that he will have the best experience and give everyone a safe environment. It's recommended to do some positive reinforcement vet experiences before his first exam.

Once Irving trusts you, he will smother you with kisses and affection and want to be with you all the time. He loves car rides, playing tug, and napping on your lap. He just wants to love someone and be loved in return. It appears he didn't have a puppyhood, and he loves showing what a silly puppy he is.

Irving is currently with his long time foster who understands him and all that he has been through. They will be a good resource to help you navigate how to best care for him. He will need a patient home that has experience with OES, dogs with separation anxiety, and dogs with fear-based reactivity. The right human or family will have the time, energy, and strength to give him the structure and patience he requires..

Bubba is a 6 year old neutered 86lb male Sheepdog. He is a sweetheart and ready to find his forever family. He comes from a loving home that, due to life changes, had to make the tough decision to find a home where he can get all the love he deserves. He is good with kids, other dogs and meeting new people. He walks well onleash and follows commands easily. He has been crate trained but likes to sleep on the bed with you too. He doesn't have any medical issues though he does take Prozac daily for anxiety. Bubba will make a wonderful addition to a family who is looking to add a fluffy new friend to play with.

Olive is a sweet, gentle 7-year-old Old English Sheepdog who weighs about 85 pounds and loves nothing more than relaxing near her people. She’s an easygoing companion who enjoys short walks, cozy naps, and plenty of snuggles.

          Olive so sweet

Olive is a sweet, gentle 7-year-old Old English Sheepdog who weighs about 85 pounds and loves nothing more than relaxing near her people. She’s an easygoing companion who enjoys short walks, cozy naps, and plenty of snuggles.

Olive is housebroken, crate trained (her cue is “kennel up”), and knows basic commands like sit, stay, and come. She’s fine when left alone—usually napping or keeping a lazy eye out the window for squirrels she has no intention of catching. She walks at an easy pace and she’s a hit at the park—every child wants to pet her, and she’s perfectly content to soak up the attention.

She’s spayed, up to date on vaccines, and takes Proin ER for mild urinary incontinence, which is well-managed. Olive tolerates grooming and ear plucking very well and is comfortable being brushed, handled by a groomer, or seen by the vet. Like many sheepdogs, she benefits from regular coat care and the occasional spa day.

Olive is great with people of all ages and does well with other dogs. She’s not the alpha type—just a calm, happy presence. Her only “bossy” trait is gently nudging your hand or paw-five-ing you when she decides the petting shouldn’t stop yet. She doesn’t guard food or toys but will occasionally hide a favorite ball under her neck waddle when she wants to keep it from her sister.

She loves car rides when she’s safely secured with her harness and seatbelt tether. She’s not a jumper and will need a ramp, step, or a helping hand to get into the car or onto a grooming table. Olive isn’t a water dog and is not fond of fireworks.

She can go six to seven hours between potty breaks and may need a little encouragement to go outside when the grass is wet.

She is used to three small meals a day with a midday outing. She’s the kind of dog who can go almost anywhere—she especially loves visiting hardware stores or other dog-friendly shops.

Olive would do well in a home that appreciates a calm, affectionate companion—someone who enjoys easy strolls, quiet evenings, and a steady dose of unconditional dog love. A fenced yard is ideal, as her strong sniffer could lead her on an adventure if left unchecked. She’ll greet you with a full sniff-down if you’ve been around other animals, and she may reward you with a cuddle afterward.

Olive’s gentle soul, silly quirks, and relaxed personality make her a joy to live with—a perfect match for anyone looking for a loving, loyal best friend who is always happy to see you.

Ollie is a happy 2 year old that is very intelligent and eager to please.

          Ollie is a sweetheart

Ollie is a happy 2 year old that is very intelligent and eager to please. Being young and not having any formal training, he does have some bad habits, but with consistent positive reinforcement training, he should be able to learn new positive alternatives. He pulls on-leash and has on occasion tried to chase a car or two. His way of expressing love is to nibble on his person. He doesn’t understand personal space and wants to be in your lap and licking your face.

During the day he has the run of the backyard with his other sheepdog friend. He is housebroken and tolerates grooming well and is familiar with a dog door. He is not a finicky eater and eats right away. He does well with other dogs and seems to tolerate cats well. He stays home alone without issue and loves to sleep on the bed with you so crating would not be preferred.

Ollie is going to need someone who has the time to train him and, since he is so strong, he needs a strong owner. I don’t think he would be a good fit for a home with young children or small dogs as he is still clumsy and doesn’t know his size and strength. but he is very amiable with other dogs.

I believe he would be excellent in a home with someone looking to get into performance with a dog. After some training, he would probably really excel at and enjoy flyball, or someone who wants a hiking companion.

Bentley and his new BFF sheepdog Andy (another rescue) have become fast friends. They love sleeping on the bed together and munching carrot sticks while enjoying the good life.

          Bentley in the studio

And apparently Bentley has an artistic side, insisting on “helping” his new mom in her pottery studio. For a stray this boy is certainly leading a charmed life and is proof that rescue works!
