Say Hello to Ozzy

Hello, Im Ozzy, an endearing, spirited 1.5 year old neutered male Old English Sheepdog who balances joyful playfulness with deep, loyal affection. I love to chase toys or romp with doggy friends, but my favorite place in the world is curled up right by your side for a snuggle session.  Beneath this fun-loving exterior, I'm still learning the ropes of being a dog and thrive in the safety and comfort of a predictable home. I need you to be patient and understanding with me and give me a calm environment to help me feel secure as I explore the world, and grow into my Sheepie glory!

I prefer to be the only pup in your life though I do like to be with other dogs. I haven't been introduced to cats yet, so I'm not sure how I'm going to feel about that. I like children but, because of my size I think I do better if they are taller than me, and I'm kinda tall.

I do have some medical issues but they are being well managed with pain meds. Mild hip dysplasia and nerve damage in my back does require some medical care but really isn't too involved, I just need you to be willinging to help me out when I need it with a laid out medical plan.

Other than that little issue I'm the most wonderful pup in the whole world. You should meet me so you can fall in love with me. Because I know you will! See you soon!

Colin is a rewarding example of rescue at its best. He’s blossoming in his new home and making for a very happy OES family. He’s learning to be a great trail companion and proving to be quite the gentleman amongst other people & dogs. Of course, he’s also spoiled rotten and kept extra happy by […]
